Going to KL

On 24 January 2008, we made our trip to Kuala Lumpur. Since I was on year long maternity leave, we are spending about 3 months of it in KL. Several reasons - to see family and have help with looking after baby and to get away from the English winter!

We managed to survive the flights ok. We took Emirates which meant we had to stop in Dubai for several hours. William took everything in his stride. Being just over 4 months, all he was concerned about was eating and sleeping which was mostly what he did, plus a little bit of people watching. The air pressure didn't affect him much. I just tried to feed him during take off and landing. He even got a little cot to sleep in. Mind you, he was a very tired bunny from all that. When we arrived in KL, I put him on the seat while I got the bags and he just looked at me, blinked and closed his eyes for more sleep despite the hustle and bustle of people around.

At last, his Babu (grandpa) and Yee Yee got to see him when they came to pick us up at the airport with Poh Poh. Even Dexel Koko came. He was quite amused that I had brought a baby and kept commenting that he was cute. How sweet.

William suffered jet lag for a couple of days, waking in the middle of the night to play! He adapted to the weather well, although he did have a small breakout of rashes probably due to the heat.
