Kiera and Sydney

Early in December 2007, I was introduced to May Ching, who is sister-in-law to Hsiu Lin (my old classmate and mom to Liem), via a game of Scrabulous on Facebook! It was great as we have a couple of things in common - we are in the UK and we both have babies. In fact, May Ching lives in Wimbledon and her baby Kiera is 1 month older than William.

May Ching and her husband Ch'en Yih are in the UK for a couple of years while he is working here. Normally they reside in Australia/Malaysia. So now William has another little friend to grow up with. Kiera is really cute, with her shock of dark hair, and does amusing little things which William doesn't - e.g. stare at her left hand!

May Ching then introduced me to another Malaysian lady called Ivy who lives in Southfields. She has a son, Sydney, who is about 1 month younger than William. Before we left for Malaysia, we managed to all meet up for lunch. When we return to the UK, this could be a regular thing - a little mother (Malaysian moms) and baby group in Wimbledon.
