Christmas 2007

William spent his first Christmas in Scotland with his Daddy and Granny Mary. They had kindly invited us to spend Christmas with them. We spent 5 days at Granny Mary's home in Falkirk, just outside of Edinburgh. Day after boxing day, we also made a short trip to Glasgow to visit Great Nana Emma. Here he is with Uncle Craig, Daddy and Granny Mary.

Of course, being Christmas, he was spoilt with lots of gifts, not only from the immediate family but relatives near and far also left gifts for him. It was really kind of them considering they have never met us.

He got a teddy bear (left) from Daddy. It was one made specially for him by Daddy at the Teddy Bear Factory. He also got a funny frog (which has become his favourite toy as it is small and light and has chewable parts) from Uncle Craig and nice new clothes from Granny Mary and Great Nana Emma.

On Christmas day, I dressed him up as an elf... well, isn't it nice that they had an elf round for Christmas? After all the elves had been busy before Christmas and now the work's done, they deserve a rest! Actually I got the outfit specially to take a photo for the Christmas card (right) and it was very well made of velour so it seemed a shame not to use it more often. I will use all the way until we go away to Malaysia.
