We made a trip to Singapore on 14 March 2008 as Babu had a couple of meetings there. We stayed with Kow Kong, Poh Poh's brother. It was a very unusual trip for me as I didn't do much shopping! 
The closest I got to Orchard Road was 1/2 hour spent in Plaza Singapura which was at the far end of Orchard Road and that time was spent in Daiso, where everything was on sale for $2. I found a few items... I think I spend $8 only! This trip was to meet with relatives and friends. I met up with a couple of my friends from school. It has been a long time, and they have kids too. William found a couple of jieh-jiehs to play with. Here he is with Madeleine (almost 1 year old) and Kim Ann (about 5 years old).
