Fish Spa

A big craze going around in KL is the fish spa. It's not a spa where you take your fish, but a spa where the fish is your therapist. Being one to try anything therapeutic, I went to one at the Picolo Galleria Hotel. One day, we also went there as a big family event with Babu, Poh Poh, Yee Yee and Koko Dexel and Koko Joven.

I took William with me as I thought I could hold him while I sit with my feet in the aquarium, or he can play on the platform beside me. However, the nice ladies who work at the spa helped to babysit him while I endured the torture (for the first 5 minutes) and then enjoyed the sensation of the nibbling fish for 30 minutes.

Children are allowed to dip their feet in for free. I also tried putting William's feet in the water, just for a photo opportunity. He's too fidgetty to sit still for the fish to come. However, he did keep still for a moment and I did see a fish touch him but then he moved! Probably was ticklish.

Well, it's pointless for the fish to nibble on his feet, being all fresh and plump and considerably lacking of dead skin!! But he was much braver than his cousins who got all excited about going to the fish spa but when they got there, they categorically refused to even try!
